Millie's teacher reminds me of my grade 1 teacher, whom I still remember and loathe. >.<

Guess I was wrong about Ms. Sorkowitz not being in on this conspiracy. But for what it's worth, not many conspirators are this up front about it.

I've actually noticed this quite a bit in Ozy and Millie: people explicitly saying what normal people would keep to themselves for the sake of exposition. Like Mr. Vine stating flat-out that he allows bullying to happen because he personally wants to stamp out nonconformity. Nobody's dumb enough to actually say that in as many words, and I think sometimes it crosses the line between necessary exposition and D.C. making his point with the proverbial sledgehammer.

Note that applying the sledgehammer is about the only way to get a point across with some people, in my experience anyway.

Most parents go back and forth a few times, give up, and leave us alone.
They aren't dealing with "most parents."

They're dealing with Ms. Mudd, Ace Attourney! Lawl.

I still don't think she's in on any conspiracy myself. No this just is the ole runaround routine that's so prevalent when one is trying to seek answers. What...y'all never waited as much as an hour while customer service bounced ya from this department to that one etc. She's probably also thinking that when most parents talk to the completely inept Mr. Vine, they instantly see he's too dense to get through to and just give up. Course as it was said, Ms. Mudd is no other parent.

That does it. I'm not defending Ms. Sorkowitz anymore.

It's almost become tradition in comics. "Dilbert" is probably the most blatant example.

And some people wonder why home schooling is becoming more and more popular.

I was homeschooled, and I'm proud of it. I'm so glad I didn't go to public school for just these sorts of reasons.

(that being said, I found the story arc about Ozy being homeschooled hilarious ^_^)

Ms. Mudd is awesome. I like where this is going.

My parents wouldn't. Well at least not my dad anyway. Mom's not the most perceptive person in the world. My dad's get straight to the point and speak very bluntly with them. Which is looks like that's what Ms. Mudd is doing. I'm hoping Vine gets punched or his ass handed to him in law suite. And Yeah Millie's teacher kind of reminds me of my fifth grade teacher Miss Bean. Yes that was really her name. Just about everybody hated her. I remember hearing her say that violence never solved anything and even at the time me bing a fifth grader thought. "Yeah right."

Whereas in reality*, it's such a thrill to come across a parent actually interested in their child that teachers, form teachers, pastoral team leaders, heads of year and senior management usually trip over each other to arrange meetings when a phonecall comes in.

*I can only speak for the schools I've worked in
