Economic Left/Right: 2.25
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -0.10

I'm in the purple quadrant too, barely. The problem is, they don't have questions on everything. Can't, really.
My old score, from about six months ago:

Economic Left/Right: 1.00
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 0.46

EDIT: Just for fun, I did it again, this time thinking more like I did two or three years ago:
Economic Left/Right: 5.25
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 3.28
That's the shift I'm talking about. :D

Cameron is awesome because:
-Because he has an artistic style that is both complex and minimalist. This is profound!
-He once drew me as a roadrunner. It was an actual honest to god feral roadrunner, but a roadrunner nonetheless!
-He lives in Idaho among the wilderness and stuff and I envy him for that. 3:
-He is probably one of the most personable artists on here.
-I think he's the only one of us on here who drew a fanart that made it as a guest strip on O&M. This is an accomplishment!

Actually, looking back at it, I think klimt was in the same (purple) quad. You're not alone! And that was a "my bad" for missing it.

The problem with quizzes like these is they put too much credit, as far as accuracy is concerned, in what are essentially answers chosen on a knee-jerk reaction. I went and took the test again, this time parsing the questions out a bit more thoroughly and considering carefully what I chose. The resulting, more accurate, number:

Economic Left/Right: 2.38
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -0.92

Well any quiz like this, no matter how thorough will fail to give an absolute picture or delve deep enough into every question. I see the result as a starting point, but know not to make judgements on other people's political views based on these two numbers.

Here's one question that can be interpreted differently...
It is important that my child's school instills religious values.
From this some might think school education being driven by religious dogma, or religious education being worked into seemingly unnecessary places. However I answered "Agreed" on this because I know religious values can also mean charity, peace and understanding.
Unfortunately it's the hateful stuff that'll usually make it into the news because of the sensationalism. But looking at a larger picture, I can see some aspects of religion as beneficial. The question, frustratingly, doesn't say what aspects will be taught. If there was a neautral option I'd have picked that because of this particular wording.
How contradictory is it for an atheist to pick this option? Like I said, religion has beneficial sides (however rarely some seem to express them). And instead of trying to eradicate religion I'd rather people make up their own minds, provided they've done some critical reading into what they're supporting/against.
All this is wishful thinking probably, especially about some parts of America. In the various places I've been I received a balanced religious education encompassing different faiths, so my views may be skewed in that way.

Edit - While I was searching for this particular question I went through the test and randomly selected options and got -0.25/0.41, almost exactly on the center.

the ninja penguin took the test, and came out as:
Economic Left/Right: 0.75
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -3.54

By the way, he's known as shinobitux on the Ubuntu forums.

I'm in the same place as the Dalai Lama. He says hi, by the way.

I'm very close to there; only a bit more to the upper-right.

I'm roughly where Nelson Mandela is on the chart, which of course makes me an awesome human being.

The thing is my basic outlook on life is basically liberal, but kind of misanthropic at the same time, so it's a bit... conflicting...
