It'd be funny if the government monitors select furry groups as potential terrorist groups (kind of like quakers), saw excerpts from this thread, and then took down mancubus.net

in an ironic sort of way?

DCS should've ended the comic a year or two ago.

Quakers are monitored as potential terrorists? Forwhy?

Probably because they oppose the war. And the bureaucracy didn't pass on research to indicate that devout Quakers are nonviolent.

But, the codes are themselves encoded, so I'm going to need you to laboriously decode them for me.

Something about how Isolde is phrasing that seems suspicious to me.
Probably just DCS' way of emphasizing that it would indeed be work for Millie to decode them.

Not to mention unless the government agent or agency that encrypted those is brain dead, it would take any computer in the world years to crack the code (I took a course in cryptography).

If a weaker encryption was used, it would only be because in the time it would take to crack the code, the content of the message would be useless by the time it was cracked ("time sensitive information").

Hobbes: "Wouldn't building the robot be more work than making the bed?"

Calvin: "It's only work if someone makes you do it."

There's also Danae from "Non Sequitur," whose doppelganger installed new floors over her junk-strewn ones as a matter of principle.

I was just thinking that Isolde was using the decryption to distract Millie until Ms. Mudd and Mr. Llewellyn get back.

If she succeeds and blows up Nebraska, do you suppose anyone would notice? :P

I would, considering I live there.

But you can't notice anything when you're dead, now can you?
