3. Karol Wojtila (Pope John Paul II - going to my Polish roots, but it's much, much more than that).
2. Martin Luther King, Jr. (You don't have to be black to really respect this guy!).

Christ for me, too, but the first several names I thought of were artists and entertainers from my childhood: Bill Watterson, Shel Silverstein, Dr. Seuss, Jim Henson... The rest are people I know personally. My parents, of course, have to be at or near the top, but unless genetics count as "influence," their placement is hard to gauge. I credit my younger sister with increasing my interest in cute animals.

lol, anything's better than my style...

Seriously, though, the picture is a cropped one of a larger picture drawn by a friend of mine I've been helping. She, along with another one of her friends, drew pictures of my character. I liked them a lot, and to show my thankfulness, I've been making avatars out of them. Yes, they're very good, but I like any works people draw of my character, lol

As my God, he inpsires me to reach out to those less fortunate than me, as well as to be patient with people. As a man, he inspires me to stand up for what I believe is right, as well as using words and determination, not violence or sheer brute force, to work toward a task

That makes perfect sense. As a member of one of the largest religious minorities in the world, I don't view him as a god, but he was an admirable man. Did you know he was a Jew?

Oh, so it is, though apparently not in the Bible. I assumed it was Japanese. There does happen to be a Japanese word transliterated that way, as well as a Swahili word.
