...I kinda thought it was always the time to point out the stupidity of language and expressions. Though that might be because I've taken these stupid expressions, or ones like them, literally at points in the past...

One of my lesser-known foes was Pennyman, who had been bitten by a radioactive penny.

A bad penny is one that gets into street fights and sings songs about it.
That which does not kill me, cripples me for life.

A bad penny brings bad news. It's not welcome anywhere, but there is no denying it.

There's a phrase from my college days that seems to fit here:<br><br>"Don't put that in your pocket!"<br><br> <!--emo&:P--><img src='http://definecynical.mancubus.net/forum ... tongue.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tongue.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Wow.. y'know, that thing about a bad penny is quite an astute observation.. you know those pennies that are so corroded and darkened that you can barely tell it's a penny? Those things are just so bad I just can't help feeling guilty about handing one off to a store somewhere, so they accumulate. <!--emo&:ph34r:--><img src='http://definecynical.mancubus.net/forum ... /ph34r.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='ph34r.gif' /><!--endemo--> <br><br>I'm thinking of taking my penny collection to the bank. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://definecynical.mancubus.net/forum ... /smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Jewlry cleaner might get that off, since copper is only a little more reactive than gold and silver.

Paying for things like parking tickets entirely in pennies is quite fun, the cops love it <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://definecynical.mancubus.net/forum ... /smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->

I think it's 20, but that might be 20ps worth (which makes a difference with reguards to 2ps.)
