Some people say that Pluto isn't really a planet. Just a largish asteroid. Poor little ball of ice and rock. Why must people disrespect your planetary status? <!--emo&:'(--><img src='http://definecynical.mancubus.net/forum ... ns/Cry.png' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='Cry.png' /><!--endemo-->

Out of the proposed, definitions, some would see the solar system having 8, others would see 24, out of the presently known bodies within the solar system, iirc.

No...why make it easier for people to spot me?
I wonder if it'll finally get it's own forum too. I've always wanted a place online where I can talk about O&M.
Math is NEVER overrated. Math is the key to upholding the modern world.
It takes language to build a society, but math and science to build a world.

You're thinking of Rupert, the planet named after an astronomer's dog <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://definecynical.mancubus.net/forum ... s/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Not a planet. The astronomer who discovered it, if it's the one I think it is, is trying to get the public believing it to be a planet in protest at the astronomic people's obsession over classifying things.

Either way, it is much bigger than Pluto, and is, I believe a gas giant.
I'm here, you just can't see me!
Triggerpoint is my not so new webcomic, and currently under heavy work before it resurfaces.
