I meant within the context of this thread. I'm quite familiar with it's relation to combinations, and all that entails.

You make it sound like you expect posts in threads to be relevent to the topic of them. <!--emo&--><img src='http://definecynical.mancubus.net/forum ... lleyes.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='rolleyes.gif' /><!--endemo-->

In my experience, the long a thread goes on the less it has to do with anything. Except for the game threads. They have remarkable inertia.

Well there is a correlation between pascal's triangle and sierpinski's triangle. If you black out only the odd numbers of pascal's triangle you will get sierpinski's triangle. If you are looking for more relevance to the thread than that, well... that's asking too much :(<br><br>I do like that sierpinski snow flake too, RKN. Very clever :)<br><br>The only thing I don't like about this snowflake-making program is if you cut down the middle of the paper, for example, you can't pick which half you want to keep.

I'm not as artistic as practically all the people in this thread. I really don't have the patience to actually get the patterns down anyway. I appretiate the fact that you guys share such things with others.
I wonder if it'll finally get it's own forum too. I've always wanted a place online where I can talk about O&M.

And by a convoluted coincidence, "The Colours of Infinity" was delivered today. Page 29 (and others) has a nice Sierpinski gasket. I'm a little disappointed by the DVD's image quality. It's no worse than any time I've seen it broadcast on television, but that's still pretty bad.
