I wonder if it'll finally get it's own forum too. I've always wanted a place online where I can talk about O&M.

Some omens are very hard to read. Unless you really try reading into it, that wasn't one of them. Think how much harder it would be to interpret that butterfly if it didn't go commenting about Millie's nose and teeth.

Well, that's about as much as I read into it. Anyone else have thoughts on it?

I think its based off the belief that a butterfly landing on your head is good luck. Or I might have just made that up. I'm really not sure.

I've never heard of an omen involving a butterfly...

As I mentioned it might be something I made up unintentionally.

I recall some "Peanuts" animation in which a butterfly landed on Peppermint Patty's nose. She fell asleep and Marcie sent it away. When Patty awoke, Marcie claimed that it turned into an angel. Patty believed it and tried to convince everybody.

Before now, we've had no indication that O&M bugs were any different from human-world bugs. The characters seem to have regarded them just the same, which is kinda creepy. (Locke, on the icky things he vaguely remembers: "I just figured I ate a bug or something.")

Is it just me or is Millie the only one so far who has been able to talk to the wildlife? First the seagull and now the butterfly.

Lyndon the Yelling Bird was small and perched on Ozy's arm, but on the other hand (no pun intended), he was obsessed with national news. He might be considered "domestic," for a third category.
