Werewolves

"You're safe enough from me. But I can't speak for the other two here..."

He gulps nervously...

"Say, guys... Why don't we give the gun to someone we know isn't the werewolf based on good old fasioned logic... I'd guess that would either be me or Richard, then. Since no-one could see Bocaj last night, and Rooster's recovering too fast for my liking."

He pauses again... "And since I seem to be the only person with their head on straight enough to not shoot based on circumstantial evidence... Unless anyone is suspicious of me being the werewolf... Maybe the one of us who needs the most protection due to being a wounded lamb among two blind shepperds and a wolf should take the gun?"

He realises what he just said. "...I'm not getting out of this sick, twisted game alive, am I? Weather or not I survive the injuries... Though the way I'm feeling right now compared to the way I felt during the getaway makes me think I will do..."

"You want to give the gun; the only weapon we have, to a guy who's drifting in and out of conciousness?"

Rooster stuck the gun through his belt.

"No dice... seeing as I'm the only one thinking clearly here, I'll keep the gun."

He looked at Bocaj. "I'll just wait until the wolf turns before shooting it."

Gizensha looks at Rooster firmly. "And how, exactly, do you propose we do that? We have a boat made for two. We have four people. One of which is incapable of rowing, though would be willing to try but considering the extensiveness of his injuries, and as you pointed out the whole drifting in and out of consciousness thing. Two of which can't get in and out of a boat without help. And one of which is a werewolf. The latter not neccesarially being exclusive of either of the other two situations, and one of the 'can't get into and outof' is overlapping with the 'incapable of rowing'. Oh, and we have someone with a gun who's acting just slightly parranoid.... Lets consider our options, shall we? You and Richard get into the boat. Neither of you is the werewolf. You don't bother coming back because you know that the werewolf is the only one out of me and Rooster who is still alive. You are the werewolf under the same circumstances. All three humans die, assuming you don't give the gun to anyone else. Richard is the werewolf. Depending on if he's smart or not, that would mean that either you both get to the otherside alive and he kills you in your sleep while you've assumed that either me or Bocaj is the werewolf, he then comes back across and kills the two cripples, or you shoot him after noticing the transformation. The way the werewolves have been acting, I'd guess that the werewolf is smart. So... If you get into the boat, the only chance any humans have of living is if it's one of the people left behind. that leaves Richard with either me or Bocaj. Unfortunately, under that situation with me, if Richard is the werewolf everyone dies. Wait. No. If Richard is the werewolf then when you see someone alone heading back you'd shoot him because Bocaj hadn't transformed, but if you didn't you'd probably wind up shooting Bocaj via process of elimination. 'they must both be human and be too scared to go back for me'... Unless you'd assume it was me, but I somehow don't think you'd do that. Fifty fifty under those circumstances, afterall. There's at lest one certain fatality in that situation, and if you're wrong, you may as well be wrong in the way that gives you 100% survival. Right now I think if you have the gun in that situation that's how you'll react. If i'm the werewolf and I was in the boat with Richard, then Richard would be eaten, and Bocaj would probably die. So, basically, if you get left, we assure a fatality and have a fifty percent chance of there being two. Then again, we're assured a fatality anyway. Unless we find a way of pulling off my roap proposal while maintaining your oh so precious modesty."

He collapses where he already lies, physically exhausted from the overexertion of such a passionate and angry rant, which in his current condition, was probably not such a hot idea.

Rooster looks paniced. The moon has come up and the sun is beginning to disapear behind the horizon.

"What the hell do you want me to do?" he shouted to the group. "I'll give the frigging gun to Giz if you think it'll help. I don't agree with it, but I'll do it. You may also have noticed the big grey object in the sky, the thing that werewolves love? Now is not the time to be standing around and chatting like a bunch of sheep waiting to be killed!"

"I simply suggested that we actually have a chance of all of us surviving if we stick together instead of using the boat. We need to decide which one of the four of us isn't the werewolf, between us, now. Then Rooster gives the gun to that person. We shoot when the transformation occurs, after we're certain it's not a badly timed angina attack or something."
