Some politicians will resort to anything to get elected. Take for example (and i'm sorry i don't know any of the names or dates assocaited with this) an election way back when. The one guy accused the other guy of having a sister who was a "practicing thespian" and a brother who was a "registered homosapian." Of course the people of the time didn't pay close attention and/or didn't recognize the words and guess what they assumed.

Depending who tells it, either the guy won by a narrow margin or was shown a fraud at the last minute -- both endings sounding romanticized.<br><br>When a college friend of mine was going to grow out facial hair and hadn't decided precisely how, I guessed aloud that it would not be a mustache alone. There was general agreement, with one person saying, "Nobody does that anymore." But when I thought about, it wasn't hard to think of mustaches on males who were above a certain age, not Caucasian, or perhaps not American. Gotta be careful about these "nobodies."

One thing could be to grow it after becoming president, that way you can have the moustache/beard and not offend anybody during the campaign run, even if there reason for being offended may be stupid.
