See, a preview or teaser is supposed to make the show look interesting. Not cheesy, not idiotic, but hey, if a show has nothing else, you might just go with what you have. Come on, laser eyes and kung-fu??? GAH!

If I had cable, it wouldn't matter. But not watching the WB anymore has eliminated, like, 20% of my viewable channels.

I'm having second thoughts about this. Yes, the Loonatics do not look promising at all. But they are not supposed to be replacing the Looney Tunes, according to a WB spokesman. I'm wondering how adults reacted when "Tiny Toon Adventures" was on the horizon: "Oh no, look what they've done to Bugs"? Of course, the Tiny Toons interacted with the Looney Tunes, whose personas remained intact, so any such misconceptions were easily put to rest.

I wonder sometimes if the suits at the company ever go like this:
"Hey Bob I have this great idea for a new show"
"Yeah?"
"There will be these, like, superheroes and they'll, like, fight evil... and stuff."
"Hmmm. Sounds original. Who are the charecters?"
"Ummm..."
"Oh never mind, just go grab a set from that recycling bin. Nobody cares about those charecters anymore"

And there will be uproars of fury/anger at this new show. But i fear that others will watch and enjoy... Those people that find the original show too boring... You know the kind of people.

I miss the looney toons shows that didn't have any of the cannonical characters in them... like the ones that parody the olympics, the army, and the future... I remember the army one that used to make me laugh...

"Warning: Secret Army Base!
Number of men: censored
Number of planes: censored
Number of tanks: censored
Number of bombs: censored
What the men think of the commanding general: CENSORED!!!"

...or something along those lines. Ah, nostalgia.
Miyo! Chikara no chizu!

Living proof that Ninja and Pirates can live together in peace, harmony, and fun at the expense of ye hapless townsfolk.

"
< e
-|-|-/ <
< e
_________/
-------------------------
Hey... On page 375 it says "Jeebus"...
