It wasn't up at 6:30 am Atlantic time so they wouldn't have captured this.
I wonder if it'll finally get it's own forum too. I've always wanted a place online where I can talk about O&M.

The noseless ack woman is Cathy, from the Syndicated Comic Strip named 'Cathy'.

It can be rather funny at times, but not always, Unlike Ozy and Millie.

oooOOOOH BURN!

ahahahahaha.

At first I thought Mr. Simpson was gonna poke fun at himself. It woulda (potentially) been funnier, but it just wouldn't have that good ol' BURNINATION smell. Heh. I'm just setting myself up for the pyros around here, aren't I? Actually, I'm doing that on purpose. The boards have been getting cold as of late; I don't notice as much fire going on around here anymore.

FOR THE LOVE OF JEEBUS, SOMEONE SET SOMETHING ON FIRE!!!!

Edit:

Quote:

henohenomoheji

Wow! When she said "noseless" I got the joke, I wouldn't have if she only mentioned "ack".

Millie looks cute when she's making a sarcastic comment.

I would like to take this opportunity to make a prediction:

I have no idea if any of you follow "Cathy," but after 28 years of being frustratingly single, the main character is finally going to marry her formerly-on-and-off boyfriend, Irving. Exactly what this means for the strip is uncertain, but it could very well mean that the strip will be retired soon. So far I haven't heard any formal announcements, but my prediction is that it will.

Why am I bothering to mention this? Because I always get excited when a popular comic strip ends. It generally means that a lot of newspapers will be looking for a new strip to take its place.

DAVID! THE TIME TO STRIKE IS NOW! I know you get egged on all the time, but this could be your big chance! I would recommend trying Universal Press again (they're the ones who distribute Cathy), as well as Copley News Service. The latter currently has only two comic strips and IS looking for submissions. I would guess you never tried them yet. I'll even be helpful and link to their submission page.

The rest of you, please stay on his case about this.

Um, sorry I know this, but

Here's "Cathy"!

Hehee, a slam on "Cathy." Nice shot!

Actually, "Cathy" hasn't been in my local paper for something like 15 years, so I don't remember very much about it.
Yeah, at first I thought D.C. was going to take a shot at himself, but taking a shot at another comic strip is better!
Who sleeps shall awake, greeting the shadows from the sun
Who sleeps shall awake, looking through the window of our lives
Waiting for the moment to arrive...
Show us the silence in the rise,
So that we may someday understand...
