There's that stage called adolesence that can cause changes in a personality. The cheeriest kid can become a Goat-Blood-Drinking goth. A demonic child can become a angel. Only time can tell.

Can, but seldom do.

I mean, everybody can probably name some examples of people you've known whose personalities took a 180 degree turn between ages 10 and 18, but the fact remains it doesn't happen to most of us. Most of us are a little more tethered to certain core personality traits, already formed by the time adolescence hits, and although we grow and change, we don't mutate, at least not on the inside (a bit of superficial self-reinvention along the way being just a normal part of the process).

The other thing is, Ozy and Millie are very much expressions of my own personality, and I'm unlikely to become a goat-blood-drinking goth. There are certain things I think you can safely predict about O&M as teenagers based on the fact that I'd still be doing the writing.

Hmm David, I think you attributed that quote to the wrong person. That's actually from UltimateVG, not me.

The end of the strip is inevedable. I woudl liek good things to be imortal but ntohign earthly is. Calvin and Hobes ended. Mr. Simpson takes a lot of inspiration form this stirp and they are distictly diferent but his stip fills the void left from that. I'm cofnadant that even though Ozy and Millie will end, unfortunate that that is, ther will be soemthign to scratch that itch.

Well, as long as it still runs I will still read it and support it.
That which does not kill me, cripples me for life.
