That's too bad. As a physics teacher, HowStuffWorks is a good source of real world examples for the classroom.<br><br>Unfortunately, knowledge can be used for evil . . . and it is also a goal to keep the burning, exploding, and general destruction in the lab to a minimum . . . as much fun as that may be.

During the demonstration of "Lab Safety", he turned on all the gas valves in the room struck a match, and flung it across the room. I honestly don't think any pyromaniacs were discouraged by the resulting ball of flame.
