Well, it looks like I'm probably going to be there on Saturday. Not sure what I'll be wearing or the such, and since this is the first time I ever attended one of these, I'm not sure what to expect. Oh well. Anyways, I might not be around here much this week due to exams and such.

Anyways, I might not be around here much this week due to exams and such. </td></tr></table>  As far as what to expect, well, there's gonna be panels on a variety of things, the dealers room (aka The hucksters room), artist's den (where artists sell their artwork and stuff directly), various shows,(I reccomend Uncle Kage's story hour), the con suite (Free munchies and drinks), The furry parade (Everyone with a costume joins in a parade around the hotel, the art auction, and a variety of stuff. Then there's the people. Some in full suits, some with tails, and some like me dressed as per normal. All in all a very friendly bunch. There's far to much to really cover everything, but that'll give you the very basics. Update: I've recieved word that DCS himself plans on attending. He said that he'll be at the Plan 9 publishing table in the dealers room.

Not that I'm not already really busy, but where in Chicago is the Midwest Furfest meeting (since that's my current stomping ground)? EDIT: Found it - <a href='http://www.furfest.org/' target='_blank'>Schaumburg</a> - Pretty posh . . .Hyatt Regency and all Hey, and if DCS is tuned to this frequency, saw your cartoon in Dec 2004 Funny Times. Cool! Is that the first they've run?

Hey all!! Just got back a little while ago and felt that I needed to post this. Here's a pic of DCS himself taken at Midwest Furfest. he was at the Plan 9 table and was kind enough to let me take his picture there. I also picked up a copy of the first edition of O&M there as well. He was also kind enough to draw a sketch of me as an O&M character as well (To be posted later on in another thread). You can also note his price guide. (love the Millie with the Dollars in the eyes sign of his) and he was selling the ORIGINAL panels for sale as well there. You can see the stack of them in front of him. Check out his T-shirt! My apoligies on the size of this pic but I figured that you guys would want the full size best quality that I have. I can resize it smaller but it makes it even more difficult to check out what the original artwork comic is that's on the top and I figured that you people would want to check it out. For visibility's sake I'm gonna put the pic inside a zip file. It's 1280 by 960 in size. I had a blast!! It's too bad that I can only do this once per year though. Ah well.

I see "Buckles" books. Was he sharing the booth with David Gilbert (creator of "Buckles")? 'Cause I know he was there too.

David Gilbert was a guest of Honer at the con this year. On the table was a variety of books all published by Plan 9 Publishing (the People who also publish the O&M books). On the table you can see O&M numbers 1, 2, and 5 (White cover variant) or as I like to think of it as "O&M, The White Album" (Beatles reference) At the table was a guy who was from Plan 9 publishing there. Unfortunately his name escapes me. But I found out that it was his first Con that he had been to ........ and he liked it. David Gilbert was not at the table. The Picture was snapped in the Dealers Room incidently .

What I'm wondering about is can anyone identify the particular comic that's on the top of his stack or originals? I know that you people did it last year but that one has me stumped. I unfortunately spaced on asking him what one that was.
