Actually it was one of the cards they handed out to write questions on to ask the speakers, but I found a spare and wrote it on the back.

But say, that's a neat idea though! Someone should make a template for a set of paper slips with O&M plugs on them, maybe with character scans from the newest book. Then we can download the PDF, print it out, cut out the slips and hand them out to people.

They have business card machines in supermarkets here. Only problem is that you have to choose from clip-art...so I don't know why I wrote that...

~Moving swiftly onwards~
I'd suggest that there'd be a standard....

TBC: I'm just doin summat

[continuing]....format for it, like a title, a tag line and an address, and a picture. The picture would usually be a panel from a strip, but, you know, whatever. Maybe a review of the strip. I've done an example here - like 15 mins just to give a general idea:
1. That image is really tiny, could you double its size? It can be re-shrunk for printing, but on a screen, bigger is better.

2. If the text says what I think it says (it's really difficult to read), you'd have to get permission to reprint that quote.

The text is merely an example, but are you sure about the quotes? I mean, it wouldn't hurt to ask anyway...

Bigger image here:

The proportions of a real business card are 8.5cmx5cm: I know that needs to be squashed sideways a bit, but it'll take it.

I was also thinking about putting the final panel on the back of the card, or maybe the whole strip with the title and date an' all.

The image would have to be much bigger as well. I mean for printing purposes, there has to be at least 300ppi (or dpi, in the case of the actual printed work) for a reasonably smooth image. As Felix Lockhart put it, you will have to ask for permission to make this thing, from the text you quoted to that O&M clip.

The pic was only a suggestion of format, not a suggestion for a finished article, but thx - if we do do some then it's good to know what we'll need.
