Jacob, time is relative. We are indeed backwards in their frame of reference, and they in ours. It is like me saying you are over there instead of here, and you saying teh opposite (which is true for you)

The fact that, at least within the frame of reference, Millie ages normally is evidence that it's all a matter of which side you're ON, meaning that Locke WOULD have continued to age forwards if he'd stayed here. But that can't be true, because otherwise Llewellyn wouldn't have worried about the couple's future. On the other hand, if he knew that was going to be such a problem, why did he play matchmaker with them in the first place?

Aaaaaaugh!!! Locke apparently was unaware of the fact that in his world and this one, ageing is reversed.

In my mind, Time is an illusion. It is simply here because we record our accomplishments through life, and it adds balance to reality. It's there, and yet it isn't. That's probably the line that separates Ms. Mudd and Locke, in a matter of physically speaking.

I sometimes also get the feeling that Llewellyn conspired to bring Ms. Mudd and Locke together so that they would indeed produce an offspring. Although this strip seems to negate that theory. And I really don't see Llewellyn as that cruel anyway; to play with people's emotions.

I do wonder why Llewellyn even bothered to introduce Ms. Mudd and Locke in the first place, though.

Maybe when he introduced Locke and Ms Mudd, he wasn't aware that Locke aged "backwards".

I also wonder why it was particualarily Ms. Mudd and Locke, and not two other people, or at least Locke and someone else.

What? "Time is..." statments are in vogue? Better jump on the bandwagon...

Time is Cubic!

(Side note: school filter blocked this site. I can't remember what exactly is on this page, word wise. I do know it is in no way pornographic. I just felt obligated to say that)

Tavis, obviously i meant that the other side is the original, it is we who spawned out of their universe (and time).

Talitha, Llewellyn couldn't have learned of Locke's predicament later on because of the evidence in the strip you put.

I think all the stuff about the education system being stupid is why it was blocked.

For no reason at all, I think of the people I deal with every day.

Time is that 4th dimention thingy isn't it?
And since we're seemingly "going through time" then the universe is probably some big 4 dimentional object going through the 5th dimention which is its own object that's going through the 6th dimention etc.
But on the side note; I like pie.

I wanna travel through time. Then I'd have an excuse to talk to myself.

There is no reason to think 4th dimensional movement is uniform. It could be that different objects move at different speeds than others, or perhaps in different directions.

That is the only way to explain Mississippi.
