Mayhaps we'll see one of those as an extra joke on a later broadcast.

'CE' is a pet peeve of mine.
- We've got 'AD', a perfectly good way of doing the same. In fact BC works better than BCE.
- Why on Earth should the reference to Christianity be removed? We've got days named after Odin, Tor and Freya and a month named after Mars, just to name a few! What's so special about this?
- Being thin-skinned enough to need a change to such a small thing is counter-productive in the long run. Nobody has a a right not to be offended, and this isn't a perfect world, so it's better just to learn to deal.
- IMHO the whole thing stinks of PC, which AFAIC is a POS FUBAR. YMMV.
- It's not even what it claims to be! Of course it stinks of PC.

The whole "politically correct" thing going on out there just feels messed up. To me, the "separation of church and state" thing is one of the most backwards things I've come to witness as far as encouraging freedom. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying any religion should be considered the official one for the nation, but I am saying I personally feel the legal actions people are taking to forbid the peaceful expression of a religion or even the public use of a religious symbol by a private individual is not acceptable either.

Maybe if politicians gave press conferences like that, I might actually listen to them.

And I like that Times Square ad, sirjeffrey!
I wish real press conferences were like this.

And yet, despite everything, Llewellyn manages to convey a clearer message than his opponents.

*is wondering what the running mate this year will be*

Easy choice for running mate: Ms. Mudd. And then of course there'd be a storyline about how everyone thinks she's a terrible choice because she's a lawyer. It would be great, but I imagine David has something else in mind.

I'm hoping this story somehow links up with the Isolde-is-a-reporter idea.

Word is that he will not be running with pancakes this year due to a scandal involving maple syrup, Iraq, and an abandoned warehouse outside of Chicago. Details are still sketchy, but it looks like pancakes may be dropped in favor of gorganzola cheese.
