Oh well I'll just collect them all. *ambushes the people in the temple and gets the thingy* *sneaks into the kitchen and takes Ankaris thingy* *tackles Tavis but dose not find anything just a hat* *Searches Ozymandias for WMD and the thingy* ok that should be all of them. now which one is real ??? *goes to a secret laboratory to test them*

Oh, so it's time travel now, is it? By sheer coincidence, I was at that party (the DJ's name was "Funko Marx") way back when. I found the thingy sitting on a table unoccupied, and decided to take it. I still have it to this very day. "...I never knew just what it was, and I guess I never will..."

*waits until nightfall whilst shadowing the minivan* *uses cover of night to stea-I mean-plunder the Thingy* I have discovered what the thingy was intended for! or at least one of the things anyway... *runs back to the temple of the thingy* *places the thingy in a slot on the wall (the reason I hadn't thought of this before was because the slot was really high up, okay?!)* *lets the moonlight that seeps through the hole wash over him, creating a transformation of the strange and funny kind* Arr... the transformation be complete!

* The tragic battle continues as the creature tares the ship in two. In a last ditch effort to got the thingy captain Ozymandias fires one more round into the beast wounding him and knocking off the thingy Unfortunately Ozymandias was not fast enough to get the thingy before it made it to the bottom of the sea* *Several hundred years later a fox (me) is swimming in the ocean when something shiny caches his eye he scoops it up and examines it when he gets home* This is it!! This is the REAL THINGY!!! *Immediately his stuffs it into his mouth and goes invisible. Then realizing were it as been it spits it out quickly. Sadly it would happen to land in the lit fireplace Not wanting any damage to come to the thingy he quickly snatch it out of the fire* This is quite cool for being in that hot flame!? What is the writing on the side? Three for the wolves under the trees, Seven for the Foxes and their earthly homes, and nine for the birds doomed to fly, and one to rule them, one to fined them and in the chaos bind then. I wonder what that means *puts it in his pocket on move on with his daily life*

*Idly, I read the archaeological journals and witness the report of someone finding the Thingy.* Holy man! The Thingy's been found? Waiiit... no one ever said it was supposed to look like a ring. *After another couple hours of research, I discover the Thingy was a clever forgery concocted about 50 years ago, and that the real thingy had somehow ended up in some suburb in Indiana. I travel there and find the Thingy in a yard sale by some eccentric guy who was trying to clear out the junk from his attic that had been accumulating for decades.* Uh... I'll give ya a nickel for it. *I point to the Thingy and the guy eagerly accepts the price.* "SOLD!" *I take the Thingy and lock it in an underground bomb shelter, under ten levels of locks and security systems."
