Bad choice of suit, though. Although bad taste shirts seem to be in with tv personalities now adays.

I'm fascinated, myself. Of course, Shiny Blonde And Silver Isolde is the result of years of rigorous coaxing and coercion on my part, so it's only natural that seeing Rain draw her this way at last is satisfying.

I'm particularly interested by a few things that would not be obvious to anyone who wasn't familiar with the complicated history behind Isolde's evolving visual design. First, it's nice to know, seeing her in blonde and silver, that she looks every bit as captivating as I'd visualized. Second, I do believe Rain has finally mastered the fit of her hips and the curve of her spine. She has a very unusually-shaped body, and as somebody who contributed to the model sheets (which were, perforce, nude) I can tell you it's not easy to draw!

Especially around the hips. She has lizard hips (technically saurian), not mammal hips. The tail is just an extension of the body. And the body is serpentine. The mammalian female body is based off of certain shapes (mainly an hourglass), and this is based off of totally different shapes that still have to LOOK kind of the same in the end. Figuring them out was a pain in the butt.

So much of a pain in the butt that we've had arguments over whether or not Isolde has a butt.

Right.. already taking care of it... Kapwiiing!

Anyway, it's cool that we actually get to see Isolde in color. It is a very nice look for her, and I have no complaints about his choice of color.

By the way, is everyone else as anxious as I am about seeing some of these bonus comics? Still, for a comic artist that has been keeping up with them this summer, a week-long break is very well earned.

I was going to say something, and it may have been almost funny, but those of you who don't play D&D wouldn't get it.
