Maybe she has ears behind her hair?

Or maybe ears on a less conventional part of her body, kinda like with crickets?

On a more serious note, dragons lacking in ears does not appear to be uncommon. Out of my ornamental/plush dragons, only two have ears. (amount checked, six). One of which is an eastern (purdy solid wood, large thing, only cost 90 zlotty, but that's irrelevent to this discussion ^^), the other hardly counts, since it's a Nall plush, and Nall's a kittydragon rather than a normal dragon.

So, prehaps dragons have a completely different method of hearing than that of humans? Maybe any vibrations touching there scales is 'heard'. For that matter, how do snakes hear? (Can't actually remember this one, but isn't it that instead of external ears they have tiny holes in the side of there head for hearing?) Could be a similar method to that.

Just did a quick google image search, and external ears on lizards seem to be rare at best. Interesting.

Well, you know, I thought about that when I drew it, but ended up not adding them in because:

I can't draw wings, and they're kinda like that

I didn't wanna mess up the pic

It didn't look bad them not being there.

On the whole lizard ear thing I think its down to interpretation. I mean on one hand, most lizards don't have them, but on the other, Dragons are fantastical creatures anyway, so...uh...I'll shut up now.

MOD Edit: If you want lettered lists, try the BB code.
