My guess is DCS is re-introducing all the old characters (Avery, Tim, Ms Mudd) and so I expect Locke, Stephan and maybe Felicia to be back soon.

Nope it was a mistake. I mentioned it in his latest LJ entry on the comic.
Anami: Sex with a giant, black scorpion seems fun.

<SteveThePocket> Geez. I want more of this stuff now. Now I know how a horny guy on an imageboard feels.

OK, so this looks like the beginning of a story arc

Is he gonna run todays on Thursday, interrupt the storyline or run it at the end of Isolde's time in the limelight?

Maybe he just says it was a mistake. It could be part of a larger dragon conspiracy. Think about it.

I wonder how this will develop. It could go the "election" way as several have mentioned, but it could also go in practically any other direction. I'm hopping for an interesting surprise. We shall see.

On an artistic note, I also liked the darks DC used in this strip. Especially the first panel.

One other thing, I think Isolde looks a little strange in the second panel. Not quite sure why though.

Yea, DCS rarely uses that much black, bt it makes a great effect in this one!

I also like the castle an dragon elder. Aside from being awesomely drawn, we get new people and places we haven't met before! As much as I love O&M, a new character might be interesting. I doubt the dragon elder will be a regular, but I just like the whole concept of introucing new things into the strip.

Fox news is unworthy of using the word "fox."
