I'm reminded of Michael Larson (I believe) from back in the 80s with Press Your Luck. Granted I don't think there's patterns in Jeopardy...

Wow, that's just unreal. He is going down in game show history. Have there been any prizes over $1 million awarded on any gameshow? I don't recall any show that offered that much money having anyone win it. Is ne now the winningest contestant ever in the history of TV?

There was a Super version of "Who Wants to be a Millionare?" awhile back that gave out a top prize of $10,000,000. I don't think anyone got it, though.
