I'm pretty sure that's Kell, from Bill Holbrook's "Kevin and Kell," in the picture frame in panel one. Bill and I had, shortly prior to this, drawn each other's strips as part of a webcomics April Fool's joke. Based on Bill's versions of my characters, I actually made some subtle design changes, most notably the number of pads the kids have on the soles of their feet.

I wish DCS had talked about the content of the comic a little more instead of fixating on a pictureframe I didn't even notice...

what else could he say? "I got beat up alot in school so 80% of the comic is going to be about that."

Their tails are really poofy and big here, I prefer that to the more sleek, thinner way they can be drawn sometimes.
