Doesn't excessive shaking cause the brain to crash against the skull? And doesn't that deal damage to the brain...?

Man, Ozy is such a negative nelly in these early strips. Always naysaying.
Is it just me or are their ears getting bigger?

I'm assuming Millie is just shivering rather than shaking excessively.
