Actually I've found Llewlyn one of the least scary and menacing dragons I've ever seen-unless he was scarier looking in his earlier version.

DCS drew him like a typical "really scary dragon with sharp claws and wings and breathing fire" and stuff for this first story arc, then he didn't appear in the strip for a while, and when he returned he was a softened form similar to the later one.

Also, there's obviously some misconceptions about dragons that are making Millie act like this.

What so wait there are Dragons in this comic?

Doesn't that make it a bit too fantastic?

Simpson was very much influenced by the story his group was playing at the time in D&D.

Wait, considering they use reptile-mammalian strife as a sorta metaphor for the civil rights movement, doesn't this mean that Millie was scared by a big black guy? Possibly named Ben?
Note that Ozy is apparently not hostile to sports per se, just forced participation in organized sports. I liked a good backyard game of wiffle-ball as much as any other kid.
That which does not kill me, cripples me for life.

Well, that made me snirk at the irony.

And I'm whipping out something else. Yeah.

You would rape an eight year old if she was adorable enough?

I'm just going to make a phone call if you all don't mind: "Hello? Yeah we got a situation developing over here. Better keep an eye on it."
