Another comic ripped wholesale from Calvin and Hobbes. Ozy's completely unamused expression in panel 2 is pretty funny, though. It's like he wants to hurt her for making a terrible joke.

I never did either. Show and tell strikes me as an American thing. Anyway, I'm glad I never had to endure show and tell. I don't know what I'd bring to have a bunch of semi-strangers gawk at. The damp cloth I'd suck at to drink something? The rotting fish dumped all over us as we went to the water tank in the rubbish tip? The half a handful of freezing cold gravel we ate for a meal? Bloody whippersnappers, you try telling them how happy you were because you were poor and they won't believe you, and furthermore - GET OFF MY LAWN!This by the way much like lemonade stall doesn't resonate with me, obviously we are doing things wrong here in the UK but i've never had a show and tell at school.
Apologies to everyone. Except Fritz.
First of all, Fritz, do yourself a favor and research your own answers before you post.
"Now, lovely children be carefulNun liebe Kinder gebt fein acht
ich bin die Stimme aus dem Kissen
ich hab euch etwas mitgebracht
hab es aus meiner Brust gerissen
I dunno. I was reminded of this song when I read this.
Really? 'Cause I once said the opening line in German class and My German teacher translated as "Now dear Children pay close attention. ""Now, lovely children be carefulNun liebe Kinder gebt fein acht
ich bin die Stimme aus dem Kissen
ich hab euch etwas mitgebracht
hab es aus meiner Brust gerissen
I dunno. I was reminded of this song when I read this.
I am the voice of the pillow
I brougt you something
I ripped it off my chest"
Translation...

If you've done things right, people won't be sure if you've done anything at all.
