I mean Southend is known at the mo for it's rowdy youth a bit now but before they plunked that Sixth form cum University in the middle of town it was a pretty nice place! I have many a fond childhood memory of the seaside there and the shops + giant cinemas. Plus the buses are regular at least heh.

That said the schools sucked big time but eh

Cambridge is nice but it has some rather lousy public transport and I live in village in the middle of nowhere, where the only main way to get about is an hourly bus or driving. I would of gone back to Southend if I hadnt noticed the Uni was coupled with a school and full of the chavvy types I hate so much : <
