(Reading this thread has been painful. Also, I think one can accept that 'anything is possible' and still be an atheist. Atheism is not necessarily "belief in no god", it is "not belief in a god". There is a subtle difference. I would personally say that the evidence points to either no creator or a creator who does not intervene, so I live my life the same way regardless, and reject theism in the same way that I reject the invisible, intangible dragon living behind my radiator - practically.)

Nick that's an interesting opinion on god. I wouldn't be able to think that way, because honestly, I'm still a bit skeptical if god exists. By that I mean I believe he could exist. But I wouldn't be able to just not care. These things bother me. Oh and let it be made clear that I don't only believe in the possibility of the Christian god existing. Every other religious deity is retarded, so the only other god I think would exist would be a non-christian one.
