What makes the -ember suffix superior to the -ober suffix?

There'z more of them; it's easier to change one -ober than three -embers.

I've got it. Because october has 31 days, all months with 31 days become -ober. All with 30 become -ember.

But the idea was the cluster the months with the same suffix together; unless you change the number of days the months have as well, this doesn't solve the initial problem...
