I wasn't refering to the giant text block. That was serious thought. I wasn't supposed to be funny. I was refering to when Dr. Sticks mentioned a college named quaker and I said it was interesting and delicious.Random streams of thought are sometimes funny. Not gigantic walls of text. If you had made it maybe 1/4 as big (maximum), people might actually have read it, and therefore might have been amused. As it is, nobody read it, and thus all we're left with is "User X posted a gigantic wall of text. Ha... ha?"Geez why is it that everytime I try to be funny people take me serious. I guess I'll just leave the joke telling to Roger and Reggie.
Re: Bored.
How much does your religion dictate what you read and how you respond to it? Do you feel uncomfortable if you see someone on the street in obviously different religious attire?Speaking of Zen, sometimes I get a little uncomfortable reading things about Buddah and Zen in O&M. It's not that I am against it or anything it's just that it is out of my religion.
I would like to know what instances of momentary western Buddhist sentiment in the comic particularly caused you discomfort? I can't recall any particular strips but I'm pretty sure nothing that was said was that objectionable.

I'm not against other religions. I respect other peoples choices and beliefs. Does it really matter what I said? How much does your religion dictate what you read and how you respond to it? If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place. (Revelation 2:5, NIV)

johnathan, I don't know how many more times I will have to say this, buddhism is not a religion and you are being ignorant to feel uncomfortable with it, as though it is somehow against christianity. I would suggest you do some reading up on it, it will enlighten you on a whole group of people in the world that you are not familiar with. Not with the intent of conversion, just with the intent of educating yourself.
