As only Don Hertzfeldt can deliver.

"Genre" A short about film genres.

It is furry by nature and features elements of crappy art, murder, sadism, and rape. You'll all love it.

Eh, it was kind of funny. I liked his other thing better. The Rejected movie.

Very good. Don Hertzfeldt is amazing

Yeah, Don would be hard pressed to top Rejected. (It was even nominated for an Academy Award, after all.)

Good: I laughed several times throughout.
Bad: I was no longer laughing by the end.

I originally misread "Hertzfeldt" as "Hetfield", which made me think of James Hetfield. So the whole damn time I was picturing this being one of James' side projects.
Who sleeps shall awake, greeting the shadows from the sun
Who sleeps shall awake, looking through the window of our lives
Waiting for the moment to arrive...
Show us the silence in the rise,
So that we may someday understand...

I didn't find any of it funny, really.

I love the style though. The animation itself was fascinating to watch and kept me entertained until the end.

Edit: I found it funny when the psycho critter stabbed himself
