I wear khaki cargo shorts with WAY TOO MANY POCKETS, from late Spring until early Fall. I often wear them with boots which come almost up as high as the shorts.

Where I come from, shorts count as "pants." We distinguish other kinds as "long pants."

But long pants, shorts, boxers, briefs... I like any of those -- at their proper times. Yes, there is a time for boxers and a time for briefs. You just need the right translation of Ecclesiastes.

What they're supposed to be for. I got a pair that are no where near relaxed fit. Might help if I cut down on the eating a bit though.
