A Thread with no stupid flamewar

Actually, no it isn't. The thumb is just going across under the other fingers. It's on the right side.

No due to shading and line work...the thumb is only slightly behind the first finger...plus there is no palm or depth at all showing it connect to the hand...The line work at the base of the thumb is definitely drawn like the side of the hand that would face the characters eyes. There is no downward flow from the finger facing the audience and it does not show any palm at all which would be impossible at that angle.

I am incredibly hard on myself when it comes to drawing, and hands used to be one of my favorite things to doodle.
