Wow the Pens won tonight. We're 3-2. It's be nice if they came back and won the series but I'm just not sure they will

Unlikely, but still possible.

20 times has an NHL team come back from a 3-1 deficit to win (last time was 2004, Montreal over Boston in the Conference quarterfinals), but last team to overcome that deficit in the Finals was Toronto over Detroit way back in 1942 (only time too).

It would be great for the NHL to have two more games like the last one.
But Fleury will probably have to steal games again for the Penguins to have a chance, especially if Gonchar is out for any length of time.

looks like Detroit is gonna win it :(

But that's okay, Pens did really well. I'm just more sad that the hockey season is over. I guess I'll go watch the end of the game.

Detroit wins 3-2, taking their 4th cup in recent times. Pens almost tied it right at the end there too! It was close. Detroit is the closest thing we have to a dynasty these days...but the Penguins will be back next year, and they will be good.

Now begins the off-season, and hopefully the Canucks new GM will craft a winner. Can't wait for the draft!

Congrats to the Detroit Red Wings. Though this victory doesn't surprise me in the least, at least they ended up playing six of the best-of-seven. I was worried that it would be a four-game sweep and quite frankly, that's not all that exciting to me.

Yeah, like against my team...the Avalanche.

Nascar is never interesting, even when on fire.

Even back in 2004, when the Cup was decided by a mere 8 points?

Err... yes? NASCAR is NASCAR, whether the Cup is decided by two points or ninety. "Oh, that Cup was so close" doesn't make it any more than a bunch of guys in cars driving in circles.

Shame. Maybe one time, we should put you in a NASCAR car, put 42 other cars on the track, and have you go at the same speed as the pros do (in a 150+ degree car with no A/C!) and see how long you last. I doubt you'd make it through the first turn without crashing or getting spun out. NASCAR drivers are some of the best drivers in the world, and what they do takes a LOT of skill and split-second reaction times.
