Happy Memorial Day

Title pretty much says it all. Be safe and try not to set your backyard ablaze. Grill safely.

Honoring the fallen dead of the Civil War with a large cookout.

Pity it's going to rain today.

I've got an Eagle Scout ceremony to attend in the next few hours. Aside from that I've got nothing major planned for the holiday.
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving is not for you.

I did not have a cookout (though I would have liked to), I did encounter the parade in our town today, and I helped a friend fix his bike's headlight, which wasn't turning on last night, which was weird.

Anywho, I saw it was Bank Holiday today on my day-calendar. <3 Get Fuzzy

It was in the 90s and humid here. Nothing unusual.
Who sleeps shall awake, greeting the shadows from the sun
Who sleeps shall awake, looking through the window of our lives
Waiting for the moment to arrive...
Show us the silence in the rise,
So that we may someday understand...

We had not one but TWO cookouts this weekend. Sunday was ribs, Monday was burgers and wieners.

Dang...I only had one. It was a good one though. We were gonna cook up some country-style backbone but went with some western-style instead. Not much of a difference except the western-style has more meat.

I watched Iron Man on Memorial Day. Well, he is a patriot of sorts.

I saw Indiana jones 4 for the second time this week
Babies have big heads and big eyes, and tiny little bodies with tiny little arms and legs. So did the aliens at Roswell! I rest my case.
