Done Graduated (Again)

Postby GeorgiaCoyote » Sat Apr 26, 2008 3:13 pm

Yeah...I finally finished up this last semester at UGA Griffin and will be getting my second bachelor degree. I'll probably stay on my job at the campus for a while to earn some money and then maybe look a graduate school. For now though, I'd rather work...I'm so academically burned-out right now. Below is a photo from the brick ceremony. See we get this brick to put in this pavilion floor. I don't know if they'll be able to keep doing that once they expand but for now with such small graduating classes, it's not a problem. I was one of six this year. Last year it was 5 and the year before that, the first graduates from this satellite campus, it was just four. So giving the current trend, there should be 10 graduates in 2012. We'll see.

Oh and don't ever be the last one to place your brick. I had a time getting mine in as illustrated below.

Cool man. Never been apart of a ceremony with that many graduates except when by bro graduated from the main UGA campus. It's really not all that great because with the large graduating classes, it gets less personnal. The ceremony was in Sanford Stadium and you couldn't make out hardly anyone down on the field. It was all a sea of black robes.
Congrats man! I'm assuming your bachelor wasn't in bricklaying lol.
 No...that was what I minored in JK  The degree was in biological sciences.

congrats, dude! Bio Science is important, so good thing to go for.

so yeah, congratulations on graduating... again >.>

but yeah, even putting the brick in last, if you know what you're doing, it's not that hard to fit it in.

EDIT: not to say it's not still a pain, though.
