That's a nice guitar you have. It's probably a lot better than mine which I bought from XSCargo.
And please do share a pic of the pickguard after the makeover.
I'm making a 2nd pickguard design BTW. It's for my dad's Mandolin. The pickguard is is rather uniquely shaped, to say the least, so it'll be more challenging then the last one I made.

My guitar was actually only a couple hundred at a local music shop. That sounds sweet with that mandolin...I'd like to see that. To be honest, it may be a while before I get a chance to do this, but I will definitely share photos when I do.

OK. pants it. I lied. It's drum and bass. What you gonna do?

that's really good, dude. Did you use a Jackson while drawing to reference it?
EDIT: correction, Ibanez.

nice. The locking nut is really only useful if you have a FR bridge, or the Ibanez equivalent.Yes, I used my Ibanez as reference. Though I added a locking nut, because I wish mine had that.that's really good, dude. Did you use a Jackson while drawing to reference it?
EDIT: correction, Ibanez.
but yeh, I don't know how I forgot that was the Ibanez style of inlay, since I'm such a huge fan of them.

My guitar does have a floating bridge. I went crazy with the whammy bar once and everything went horribly out of tune.nice. The locking nut is really only useful if you have a FR bridge, or the Ibanez equivalent.
BTW, and update:

Still very much in progress, but I figured some of you might want to see.

Now there's a guitar that deserves to be called an axe.
