Since this probably won't be a reality, I have no problem critiquing the forum for future reference, in case you ever want to start a forum later on for some other purpose.

First off, NO NO NO on the giant flashy background of doom. While I will admit it's nowhere near as bad as most of the "wallpapers" *shudder* that you see on MySpace, it's still very distracting. I like that you managed to use semi-transparent panes to make it less... pane-ful ...but it still doesn't really fix things. There's a reason Windows Vista has the contents of whatever's behind their smoky-glass window borders blurred, despite the vast amount of system resources it wastes to do it.

Also, if I were to get my site hosted with someone who throws ads all over your screen, I would expect them to use a non-freeware forum system at the very least. Like, say, the Invision Power Boards for which the site seems to be named and which I could swear they used to use. Seriously, there's no reason you can't set your sights, and your sites, higher.

Yes, I mean it's not like I've owned this domain name for just under two years now and we've had 1 downtime due to a server move and 1 due to an April Fool's joke, what an unreliable forum this is?
