English is a flexible language. By changing a single word or even grammar the entire meaning changes. I would also say English is nonlinear. I think I asked you about his when you first joined.

Anyway, the more complete dictionaries we have of English generally have over 200,000 words. The Oxford English Dictionary has 600,000+. We are probably the only language where even a native speaker can still not know most of the words.

To answer your question of why we do not use the word "sehnsucht", it is because we already have the word "longing", which is what sehnsucht is in english.

Also, your referencing to Binary is interesting. And the thought makes sense, since everything that computers are based on today is all based on binary signals (essentially electrical signals where 1 is on and 0 is off).

the programming is usually done in whatever language that the country building it wants it to be in, but most computer languages are very similar if not the same, words and all.
