I'm more referring to the number of "why wasn't I nominated for -X- category?" posts there are. I understand that the awards themselves are a popularity contest of sorts, but people are taking it way too personally. They're taking it like "I wasn't nominated for anything, so therefore the forum must not even know I exist, or if they do they must hate me, PAY ATTENTION TO ME!!!"

Maybe I'm just the only one who views it that way, I dunno. I just find the whole thing to be rather ridiculous, that's all.

Even the nominations were based more on popularity, than people actually being worthy of consideration (like movies. A lot of the time, the best movies are snubbed out of a category). But, I do see your point.

As for people viewing it as a popularity contest, eh the selection process was actually pretty fair, we debated all the nominations and tried to put down a few funny ones. Now guys make proper use of this thread and either campaign to be voted for or make fun of the nominees in a jesting way :p
