Ha, okay. Alternative rock mixed with folk mixed with broadway, mixed with some oldies, and some stuff that's just plain weird. Need more elaboration? My favorite singers are Dar Williams and Suzanne Vega.

Thanks for the warm welcome! Anyone ever notice that DC, as well as being the abbreviation of the name of this forum, is also the initials of the strip's creator? Oh, and Tom and Javs, it's very cool that you like Suzanne Vega as well - I got to see her live in August, and that was completely amazing. If you ever want to talk, just PM.

Well, yeah, I can see that not everybody likes folk - I guess it takes a certain personality type. Still, my dad played Buffy Sainte-Marie, and Donovan, and Phil Ochs when I was a kid, and then I discovered Dar Williams, and Suzanne Vega and Cheryl Wheeler..

I'm really glad you like folk, too, Javs - it feels like a lot of people don't. Feel free to PM me if you want to chat.
