I was just looking at my profile (to check to be sure my new avatar is working right), when I noticed that I had 499 posts. So I thought, this is too cool to miss. Therefore, this post is my 500th. Not very impressive, it's true, but a nice round number and not bad for someone as relatively new as myself. (More exciting, perhaps, will be the day I reach 1000 pageviews on my dA sometime in the next two weeks...)

Clearly you should offer some kind of incentive for the person that screen caps your 1000 view. Its some kind of DA tradition for some reason.

First person to screen cap the 1000th page view gets an original sketch or custom computer drawing of their choice! (I'll post about that on dA tomorrow; lots of time left yet, I think.)

Yep, it can only record your page view once a day. I can detect an IP address hit.

But how would you know unless you looked exactly when the count was 1,001?

Well, obviously they would have to show my their screen capture of it. I can't do it, because my hits don't count.
