People tell me that I still have an accent from my Texas living days, even though it's been years since I was last down in the area...
I guess I'd have to call it hybrid Texas/Boson, sort of I suppose.

This signature may spontaneously combust at any given moment. Make sure there's a fresh can of gasoline handy.

Furries? Are they the nutters that pretend to be animals and draw humans that look like animals? Christ, I sink my head into my paws... -Rooster
Re: What accent do you have?
I have a friend that visited America and someone thought he was from Oregon. That's the accent that's known for being the most plain vanilla of any US accent.
I myself tend to speak 'proper' english, and I sometimes get called posh for not slurring and using a broad A (I occasionally say laugh so it sounds like larf not laf), humph.
When my mum moved up from the south as a kid she tried to speak very flat to fit in, my dad however is from yorkshire (owt for nowt, etc). Haha, an interesting mix.

Mine is unsteady and best approximated as "Mid-Atlantic."

Philadelphia, born and raised. But I don't have a heavy Philadelphia accent.
Or maybe I don't recognize the accent when I hear it because I'm so used to it, and because TV and movies often give Philadelphian characters New York accents instead.

It is a mistake to fancy that horror is associated inextricably with darkness, silence, and solitude. I found it in the glare of midafternoon, in the clangour of a metropolis...

I'm not too sure what my accent is. Well, lets see, I live in Canada, but my first language is German, but people say I don't have a German accent, but I talk with a German accent to my mom (who can't speak German) because it's easier. So the answer is: sometimes I have a German accent.
It's funny when friends here me talking with a thick German accent to my mom, then turn to them and speak without one.

That's my accent too, although in my case it comes from living in Washington.Me, I still have the classic Pacific Northwest pronunciation from living in Oregon. That's the accent that's known for being the most plain vanilla of any US accent.
