NO WAI.
It's totally a GELERT.
Correct. Although I didn't know that at the time I first got the avatar (back in 2003).

This WAS my first avatar here. No, at the time it did not contain a shirt. That came later.

Oh, and actually on topic, the gorilla in question wasn't there to mess the viewer up. The volunteers with the basketballs were there to mess you up. It was the test to see if you noticed the gorilla or not.
Who sleeps shall awake, greeting the shadows from the sun
Who sleeps shall awake, looking through the window of our lives
Waiting for the moment to arrive...
Show us the silence in the rise,
So that we may someday understand...

I saw the gorilla but I ignored him. I was counting all 15 of the pass. I saw the gorilla do his thing and walk off but I did not look closely enough to ID what it was.

I never saw the gorilla. I had to actually go back and watch the original clip to verify that it was really there and that they weren't just messing with me...

I saw it the first time, ID'd what it was and saw the fifteen passes. But that's just me.
Here is fine, there is good, but DC is my home (IRC is my vacation home that I visit more often than a normal person visits a vacation home.)

I'm just good like that.

I knew that. I mean, afterwards I did. What a weird test though.

Like I said before, I wouldn't be able to tell cause the video was uber compressed and I'm colorblind. (Granted if that gorilla was actually brown or not, I'll never be able to tell.)

No, it was black. That's why it fooled many who aren't at all colorblind.
