Vaguely on subject but my IRL dog has a fur beard. And huge bushy eyebrows.
That which does not kill me, cripples me for life.

Not bad!

I'll say that the M71 you drew looks rather a lot like an FN F2000.

I think it's (the M71) based off the standard British assault rifle, the name of which I cannot/do not consider worth recalling.

It's the called SA80 (or L85A2) and is more accurate than the Diemaco C7 (M16), Heckler & Koch G36, and Steyr Aug...also, if looked after properly, it is just as reliable as all of them...well, mine never broke anyways.

But yeah, the weapon is sort of based on the SA80, mixed with the M16, and the M41A1 Pulse Rifle (from Aliens) :wag:

I like the gun at the top, and how it's like a combination of all those different designs. And I was wondering, how do you cock the gun? I don't see the thing you pull on it to chamber a round(I think it's called the hammer), or can you not see it from that angle? Or is it on the other side? Or am I just not seeing it at all?

Actually, on this type of gun, it's called a bolt. :wag: And yup, it's on there. It's either the long gray bar towards the middle of the gun, or it's right above the magazine.

And yes Roo, you've done good this time!!! :P
Thanks for clearing that up for me.

Nice work, but explain something to me. Why do you draw males with fur beards?
Not all male Lupines, but it's just what happens when the fur isn't trimmed once a month. The females would get them too, but like humans, the females tend to care more about their appearence. Some "breeds" of Lupines don't get them, but those based on the more wolven genestocks have them.

Artisitcally though, I usually use them to indicate either age (like Jessup who's 57) or lifestyle (Rufus is a bit of a hippy). Also, it's another way of making them look more different to each other :wag:

Same here, except I only use them to express age.
If you put peanutbutter anywhere on your body, I'll lick it off...

Hmm...actually, the more I think about it, the more it'd make sense to just have them for age.

I'll see though when I ink pics of "older Jessup" and ask if anyone thinks he looks his age I guess :wag:

Well, I mean, it's good to use for gender as well.
