Lil silray finally got something unexpected. After many tries and head banging I finally got the cloth physics working again. And now silray finally has a good piece of cloth to admire.

Also some animations:

Cute and smooth animation, even if I'm not sure what he's doing. BTW, when it first loads, the circularly spinning lines make it look as tho his navel is shining.

In the still picture above, he may be thinking, "How come my shirt has color and my fur doesn't?" Or do you envision him as a grey fox?

A 3d rotation view, a walk animation, a random dance animation, and an amazed animation where he realizes he finally have some clothing to wear. Also the beauty of a Silray is that they can be made completely in gray scale.

Wow, looks nice. Almost like it could be in a video game or animated film :D

I don't think a game would work. A movie... maybe however this model is quite small. about 3000 polygons un-smoothed but whem I smooth it times 3 it goes over 100,000. I still need to work on the mouth. Something about it eludes me.

Very nicely done. I'm especially impressed with the smoothness of the animation.

You use pre-made scripts and assign them to the wiremesh model, or write your own?

Scripts? Uh there are no scripts or a wireframe. I did start building it as a spline cage but I had the computer display it as a solid mesh.

What can I say, I am a mad animator

I do say that the animations are smooth. However, the problem with smooth animations is they tend to be slower than how a real person would do things.

Oh right...you must be using some other program to the one I used at Uni then.

I used 3D Studio Max 7 for this one. And Thanks Holyman

I didn't see you write that. And yes, he is gray. Well, used to be mostly silver but this shade looks good on him.

Wow, that's great! I especially like how the legs are put together.

First thing I though of on seeing this:
"Wow, hey, if I had a model like that I could just pose it and draw over it with my tablet! Then I could get my anatomy right no matter how unusual the position! And it wouldn't take an hour like it does to just eyeball it! The wonders of modern technology!

Is there any reason why I couldn't do that? (I mean, besides the fact that I haven't the foggiest how to make a 3D model in the first place?)

Cameron is awesome because:
-Because he has an artistic style that is both complex and minimalist. This is profound!
-He once drew me as a roadrunner. It was an actual honest to god feral roadrunner, but a roadrunner nonetheless!
-He lives in Idaho among the wilderness and stuff and I envy him for that. 3:
-He is probably one of the most personable artists on here.
-I think he's the only one of us on here who drew a fanart that made it as a guest strip on O&M. This is an accomplishment!
