Art is everywhere, you may say your not an artist but one way or another it intertwines with your life. As for the drawing, big improvement. Considering I had many art classes to begin with I can see my level compared to yours and I see how you feel. Sometimes a critique can be painful but things can get better.

*sigh* Stand back people, I've seen this before...

#1 rule when you post something you made on the internet:

You are going to get negative feedback. It's inevitable. If you don't want critiques or criticism, don't post your stuff on the internet!

On the other hand, criticism that doesn't offer any tips on improvement is generally useless and a waste of a good database record. I would either ignore such posts or, if I'm feeling generous, prompt the posters for their opinions in that area.

Posting a work for reasons OTHER than to gather feedback and tips for improvement strikes me as selfish, because the only other reasons I can think of are a) praise for an ego boost or b) already inflated ego makes them think people want to see what they're up to in the same way people go to museums to see what Da Vinci was up to. I don't want to accuse you of either, but when someone posts something and then rejects all negative feedback, that's how they look!

Not that we don't want to see what you draw, but really, have some realistic expectations here.

Let me see if I can dredge up some examples...

Ok here this guy posts some art, and people give him suggestions. You can see how he takes them and improves the piece.

And here... well... this isn't a very good example of the other type of thread (too short) but there's not really a whole lot to read in the thread, someone nitpicks anyways, and someone gets annoyed at the poster's attitude toward feedback. Not a whole lot of conversation really (I'll look for a better one).

[Edit: Another example of a good thread. This guy is probably good enough that he can get away without suggestions or tips for improvement, but he asks for them anyway.]

[Edit: I guess this is a good enough example of the worst that can happen when rejecting feedback, although it seems to have been mostly misunderstanding and personal rivalry.]

One small point would be that her left arm is a wee bit larger than her right, but other than that it's pretty nifty

That would be her right arm is bigger than her left.
And yeah, whatever.
I've said before I could care less about how to improve. I'm not an artist, I just like to draw. I'm only as good as I am because I've drawn so much when I'm bored.

As for you Raven, I don't like you. Never have. I'll just leave it at that.
