I cannot answer this because I am not wonderful enough.
Who sleeps shall awake, greeting the shadows from the sun
Who sleeps shall awake, looking through the window of our lives
Waiting for the moment to arrive...
Show us the silence in the rise,
So that we may someday understand...

Depending on the casino that's 4 to 6 decks. Most use a six-deck shoe, although to deter card counters at blackjack tables some casinos are starting to use EIGHT-deck shoes. Ridiculous!

What, you mean the ones that can't afford automatic continuous shufflers?

Yeah, I was gonna say. I hadn't heard of those and don't know how those things work, but I'd have been surprised if someone hadn't come up with a workable solution to card counters by now.

Believe it or not, those are actually a very new invention, and very expensive... not many casinos have them yet. So, yes, I *do* mean the ones that can't afford automatic continuous shufflers.
