It might just be in the wash, or he didn't feel like wearing it while they were drawing. (So Millie couldn't color it or something.)

In fact, the whole strip seems to accentuate her vulpinity more than usual, and I like that.
Quite fitting considering the subject of the strip wouldn't you say?
